Harry Sharata, M.D. PhD
Medical DirectorDr. Harry Sharata earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Maryland in 1982, followed by a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Physical Chemistry in 1986. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1990. Dr. Sharata is board-certified in Dermatology and is additionally certified in Mohs Micrographic Surgery through the American Society of Mohs Surgery. With decades of experience in private practice, he brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Throughout his career, Dr. Sharata has been actively involved in clinical research, serving as an investigator in numerous clinical trials evaluating innovative and emerging dermatologic therapies. His commitment to advancing the field of dermatology allows him to provide patients with access to the latest evidence-based treatments. At Advanced Dermatology, Inc. Dr. Sharata is dedicated to comprehensive dermatologic care, including general dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs surgery, and cosmetic dermatologic procedures.
